Certified Dental Assistant - Family Dental Care - Kitsilano

About Us:

Family Dental Care Kitsilano is looking for a full-time CDA to join our family practice where we provide a fun and friendly environment for professional dental care right next to the beach. The successful candidate will have a passion for building strong patient relationships with our lovely patients and contributing to their ongoing oral health. We pride ourselves in creating a supportive and caring environment for our staff and patients. Plus: You are able to have lunch by the beach! (we are a 10 minute walk from Jericho Beach).

Our office is digital and we are equipped with a digital x-ray sensors and an iTero scanner. Plenty of support to grow through various continuing education, practice specific social events and opportunities to give back to the community.

Schedule: Full time, Monday to Thursday.

The wage range is from $25.00 to $32.00 per hour depending on experience. Hourly wage is determined based on the candidate’s work experience and will be discussed during the interview process.

Responsibilities:

• Clinical chairside assisting duties including knowledge of instrumentation

• Establish strong patient relationships while maintaining ethical professional behaviour

• Prepare treatment room in accordance with infection control and practice protocols for each patient

• Thorough understanding of practice health and safety requirements

About You:

• Registered and/or certified as a Dental Assistant with your Provincial regulatory body or association

• Previous dental assisting experience is preferred
